Weekend Workshop with Unni Heim (Norway): PLEASURE, DESIRE AND LIFE

This weekend we will explore both pleasure and desire in relation to life. These words are often associated with the line of sexuality. However, both pleasure and desire has its roots in the totality of life itself.

Our body is full of gifts to be experienced. Our senses are the door to the world inside and the world outside.

Rolando Toro, the creator of Biodanza wrote: „Biodanza is to learn about- and to enjoy all the large and small pleasures of life.“

“Real pleasure comes from a profound, authentic and pure place with deep connection with the natural and healthy enthusiasm for life.“

Our desires are complex impulses whose origin is our instincts.

In this workshop will invite the pleasure and desire that life has given us as natural resources, healer and compass. We will give them form, and we will try to incorporate them in its entire splendor.

We will invite pleasure and desire both from a vitality perspective, as well as from the purity of sexuality through the passionate and life affirming Eros.

 

Unni Heim 
Unni Heim, born 1968, in the North of Norway, has been practicing Biodanza since 2003. She has a background both in natural science as well as in transpersonal psychotherapy. 

In 2000, she was struck by serious illness. “I got ME and cancer. For long periods, I could barely walk or talk. I had to stop working. I had to move from my house and I had to reinvent my life totally, rebuilding from a deep, essential base.”

This changed her life totally. All of a sudden, life became more vibrant, the moment became more precious, her co-human beings became more important, the perspectives expanded and her own personal life became sacred.

In 2003, she encountered Biodanza. She recognized immediately the transformative and healing power it had. However, most of all she was touched by how Biodanza constantly reminds us how valuable life is. 

“Biodanza has supported my process all these years, and it has helped me grow and continue to both strengthen my center as well as making me expand and evolve in connection with everything around me and in me. 

We all share this path of being human. I came to a turning point, and so do we all eventually and on different levels.” 

The best medicine for a human being is other people and nature. After all, we talk about human nature. All we need to do is dare to receive it and let it live. 

This realization have also made her understand the healing power of pleasure and to give life to our deepest desires in life. 

In 2007 she opened the first weekly Biodanza group in Norway, and in 2011 the Norwegian school for Biodanza opened with large numbers of participants. Today the third cycle is already up and running with students from several countries. 

Today she teaches regularly in Norway as well as in other countries around the world.  She also holds the IBF license to train Biodanza teachers in the extension Biodanza in Nature.

 

Practical information

When: May 31^st – June 2^nd, 2019 (start of Friday evening)

Where: Center Lorien, Address: village Nenačovice 80, Czech Republic. It is located approx. 30 minutes by car from Prague – direction west.

Program: Friday registration 5 – 6 pm, dinner 6 – 7 pm, program start / Vivencia 7.30 – 21:30 pm, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday 10 am – 7 pm.

Price of the workshop: 3.500 Czech crowns (ca. 140 Euro) if you register and pay for the workshop until May 5^th 2019. After this date is the price 3.900 CZK (ca. 160 Euro). For students of the Biodanza School Czech Republic is the workshop price reduced by 500 CZK (ca. 20 Euros) (write into notes „Student Biodanza School“). Price for the accommodation and vegetarian food is 1.000 CZK. (ca. 40 Euros). This price is not included in the price of the workshop. The payment is in cash in CZK while registering on site. We automatically expect you to have all-inclusive + accommodation unless you tell us differently. (Add this information into notes while registering.)

The accommodation is on mattress in the dancing hall or you can bring your own tent and stay in the garden.

The workshop will be in held in English and translated into Czech.
